Great news: The Reproductive Health Equity Act (HB 3391) just passed out of the House Healthcare Committee! Now is the time to keep this momentum going and to take action.
The Reproductive Health Equity Act fills the gaps in reproductive health coverage for Oregonians, so that no one goes into debt for accessing reproductive health care; no one is denied care because of their citizenship status; no one is denied services because of their gender identity; and no one is denied abortion because the cost is too high.
As the Reproductive Health Equity Act continues to move through the Legislature this session, our elected leaders need to hear from all of us on why this bill matters and why they must take action. Tell Oregon legislators to keep the momentum going: we need Reproductive Health Equity Now!
Telling our elected representatives about our experiences and our priorities is one of the ways we can influence the laws that impact our lives and communities. Sharing your story, or just that this bill matters to you, makes a difference!
Now take action by sharing this on social media and invite others to contact their legislators too. The more messages sent, the more our elected leaders know that reproductive health equity matters and that this bill addresses a real need in Oregon.
