The Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon's (APANO's) Arts & Media Project is proud to present Disoriented Comedy, the first-ever (mostly) female Asian American standup comedy tour (http://disorientedcomedy.com/). Since its first show in July of 2012, this national network of veteran and up-and-coming comedians have performed in over fifty independently-produced comedy and storytelling shows at comedy clubs, theaters, colleges and universities. The tour was founded by Jenny Yang, Yola Lu, and Atsuko Okatsuka.
This event is part of MicCheck!, a summer cultural event series that utilizes the arts to illuminate pressing issues faced by Asians and Pacific Islanders (APIs). MicCheck! amplifies voices of APIs whose stories are often silenced or unheard by engaging in community-relevant topics such as health equity, education, and interracial solidarity. The series brings community members and practicing API artists together, creates a bridge to share ideas, and rewrites dominant representations of APIs.

*Please note: As this performance is expected to sell out, it is HIGHLY recommended that you purchase tickets in advance. The online box office will close at 4pm on September 16. Any remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis at the door. Tickets will not be guaranteed to be available at the door.
