Day of Action 2018

Please join us on Monday, February 19th for APANO’s Day of Action, a day-long event where we use our collective voices to be visible and heard at the state capitol! This is an opportunity to engage with our state’s lawmakers, network with community members from around our state, and advance meaningful policies. Help directly influence decisions being made around health, education, and economic justice that impact our communities!

What does our 2018 Day of Action look like? 

• Meeting directly with our elected officials

• Political education and legislative training

• Sharing our stories to create change 

*We will be arranging carpools from the Portland-metro area. Please contact kathy@apano.org no later than Feb. 12th if you need transportation. 

What's happening in 2018? Our state's lawmakers will be meeting for 30 days during the short session in February. During this time, lawmakers will be reviewing and voting on policies that have an impact on our communities. This means members can directly give input and advocate for issues that affect them.
